1. Nail clippers

The power goes out a lot in college… Trust us, having a flashlight that is not on your phone will come in handy.

You can always find a use for some duct tape.
4. Ethernet cord
The Wi-Fi can be painfully slow in college, so having an Ethernet cord on hand will make life a lot easier.
5. Extra long extension cords
Better safe than sorry, electrical outlets can be placed in weird spots in a dorm room.
You will thank yourself later. Bring a couple of AAA’s and AA’s and you’ll be good to go.
7. A screwdriver
